The POLA Exhibition is over.
We would like to thank everyone who made the first Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Textile Art in Indonesia possible:

Mrs. Beata Stoczyńska, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta, and employees of the Embassy, ​​especially Mrs. Monika Firlus and Lukas Tambunan.

Ibu Sri Hartini, Director of the National Museum of Indonesia in Jakarta, for hosting us and agreeing to present also great examples of Indonesian batik from the Museum collection. Thanks to the employees of the Museum, especially Ibu Valentina, Ibu Nusi, and our other friends, this exhibition was able to take place despite all the problems. Thanks to you, we felt like we were part of your family.

Many thanks go to the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, thanks to the financial support we had the opportunity to implement the exhibition plans.

The Media Patron of the exhibition was the Tempo magazine, which trusted us a few years ago by publishing an article about Czesław Mystkowski. We hope that good references to Polish art will appear in Tempo and thank you very much for being our Media Patron.

Separate thanks go to an exceptional translator, Ms. Iwona Bobrowska Handayani, who took the time to translate all the materials into Indonesian. She also made the first translation of Zbigniew Herbert and Hanna Krall's works into this language, all for our exhibition. You are great!

Our great Honorable Patrons: the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Polish Institute of World Art Studies helped substantively when the need arose. Prof. Jolanta Rudzka Habisiak from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź provided us with the support of the invaluable Jarek Darnowski, who created a film promoting the event, which was screened at the building of the National Museum in Jakarta.

Katarzyna Galos and Justyna Więsek supported the exhibition catalog project with their talent. We also owe Justyna Więsek the translation of banner and roll-up designs into the language of computer graphics.
